FIGHTING STYLE

Goku's main fighting style is the Turtle Style (Kame-sen'ryu), created by Master Roshi, based on Chinese martial arts (kung fu). It combines raw physical strength, speed, ki bursts, and creative techniques, evolving from basic kung fu to a hybrid style that incorporates monkey, snake, and karate-style moves. YouTube YouTube +5 Key features of his fight: Fundamentals (Turtle School): Focused on strengthening the body, discipline and versatility. Kung Fu and Animal Styles: In his early days, he demonstrated techniques based on Kung Fu, including monkey style and crane movements. Evolution to Hybrid: Over time, it incorporates elements of karate (calculated punches), taekwondo (powerful kicks), boxing, and grappling techniques (jiu-jitsu). Use of Ki: Incorporates energy techniques such as Kamehameha, Kaioken and short/long-range energy attacks. Adaptability: Goku adapts his style to each opponent, often taking useful items from other fighters. Real Martial Arts: Throughout the series, influences from real techniques such as capoeira, boxing and Muay Thai are observed in their confrontations.

ULTRA INSTINCT

It is a status obtained by Goku in Dragon Ball Super. It is the complete version of the egoistic doctrine and successor to the egoistic doctrine "sign." In this form, Goku is similar to his selfish "sign" Doctrine state, but with a silver hair color.

Upon entering this state, Goku reaches a level that even the gods cannot reach, surpassing the Gods of Destruction and managing to have a fight with a Jiren that increases his power to the maximum[9].

Selfish "sign" doctrine

It is a status obtained by Goku in Dragon Ball Super. In this form, Son Goku presents a massive increase in his body mass and musculature, his hair rises a little, but not as much as that of a Super Saiyan and remains in its normal color, with the difference that he has areas of his hair shinier than in his base state. The Saiyan's pupils turn grayish and have a different shape.

Son Goku is able to perform the "mastery of self-movement", in which the user's body moves unconsciously and instinctively when fighting without needing to think about where each part of his body moves on its own.

Super Saiyan Blue Perfected

In the manga version of the Dragon Ball Super Universe Survival Arc, during his fight against Jiren from Universe 11 in the Tournament of Strength, Goku uses a strengthened version of the Perfected Blue Super Saiyan by breaking his limits and forcing this state to increase and multiply his strength as much as his body can. thus producing an intense aura and an increase in the Saiyan's musculature. However, this action does not achieve the desired effect for him, since by using this ability incorrectly, he makes the mistake of increasing the power without taking into account the numerous damages and side effects that it can cause in the user's body, being lower in any case than Jiren's level.

This forced increase in power and ki is similar and even identical and uses the same basic principles as the Kaio-ken, being that it is compared to said technique by the members of Team Universe 7, while Jiren compares it to the transformation of Kale from Universe 6 out of control Super Saiyan[8].

Super Saiyan God

Goku achieves this form with the help of the other five Saiyans and uses it to fight the God of Destruction Beerus. It's a form far beyond Super Saiyan 3, which comes out of even Beerus and forces Beerus to fight more seriously. It is noted that the Super Saiyan God possesses the aura of a God. Goku's appearance in this form is pretty much the same as his base form, but with a bright red aura and hair, red irises, slightly thinner and more youthful, and a more tanned skin tone. Its aura is generated as an orange flame. Using this form grants several enhanced capabilities. It recovers at an accelerated rate and requires the least amount of resistance to maintain this shape. It allows him to fight with more finesse and grace as he instinctively predicts his opponent's attacks more efficiently. His ki becomes divine, allowing him to sense other similar beings and can also mask himself from most entities that sense it. This form gives more versatile control and use of his ki, including absorption, and thus nullifies enemy attacks, paralyzes enemies, and heals himself.

Originally, despite the incredible power, Goku soon after reverts to his base form due to the form's time limit. However, having adapted to the Super Saiyan God's feeling, Goku retained some of the raw power, allowing him to continue fighting Beerus. Through further training, Goku learned to properly access and control this residual power, and eventually restored all of his properties to access this form at any time.

Super Saiyan 3

Goku reached this level after seven years of training in the Otherworld, where his energy consumption was zero in this dimension. In this way, her golden hair reaches her waist and her eyebrows disappear completely while making her forehead and eyelids larger and more prominent. Their muscles grow significantly and become more defined, while their eyes acquire dark green pupils, unlike previous phases. His aura also becomes intense with larger electric flashes than in his Super Saiyan 2 form. Goku was first seen using this state against Innocent Majin-Boo during the Majin-Boo Arc, where he had a slight advantage over Boo. However, the Super Saiyan 3 state is extremely exhausting in terms of energy usage due to the living world having an energy limit unlike the Otherworld. This tires him out quickly and at one point even reduced Goku's stay on Earth from hours to just thirty minutes after using this form for a short time. When trying to gather enough energy to defeat Little Boo, he was unable to sustain it because he hadn't taken into account the strain that his living body was overcoming and he soon returned to his basic form. Taken together, these great disadvantages make it impractical to use this form outside of the afterlife and even more so while alive in long battles.

In Dragon Ball Super, after unlocking divine forms, Goku no longer uses this form for battle due to his higher forms giving him significantly more power with less ki consumption. Instead, Goku now reserves it for non-serious fights where he needs to test someone like he did with Future Trunks

Super Saiyan 2

Goku achieved this form sometime after the battle against Cell while training in the Otherworld. In this form, Goku gets some changes from his First Grade Super Saiyan form; His hair becomes more pointed with sharper and sharper peaks, his forehead has only two bangs, which makes his hair more defined than his ordinary Super Saiyan form. Her golden aura generates electric flashes surrounding her body, while the aura itself becomes noticeably more explosive and active. Since obtaining superior forms, Goku reserves this form for opponents he takes semi-seriously.

In Dragon Ball Super, Goku shows total dominance in this way. In the Tournament of Strength, when the eager Saiyana Caulifla from Universe 6 wished to learn Super Saiyan 3, Goku insisted that she was not quite ready for it, before mastering Super Saiyan 2. To which, Goku demonstrated by intensifying the sheer power of this form, leaving Caulifla bewildered wondering if this was really the same Supesaiyan 2 he was using. This state allows Goku to fight alongside Caulifla as Super Saiyan 2 and Kale as Super Saiyan Ravager simultaneously.

First Grade Super Saiyan

After realizing the weaknesses inherent in the higher grades of Super Saiyan, Goku concluded that mastering the basic form of Super Saiyan would be more beneficial. He spent the rest of his training in the Hall of Soul and Time learning how to maintain the First Grade Super Saiyan for extended periods. Gradually, it overcame the form's aggressiveness and restlessness to feel as natural as its basic form, reducing energy consumption to nothing and increasing its endurance to achieve peak performance in this form without inconvenience even in normal life. Ultimately, you can go in, stay in, and fight in this form for as long as you want to their full potential without loss of efficiency or performance.

CAN

Power Son Goku is one of the most powerful characters in the franchise, rivaling Vegeta for the position of the most powerful Z Warrior and Universe 7 warrior. At birth, his power was two units[1]. Upon arriving on Planet Earth at three years old, Grandpa Gohan realizes that he is incredibly strong and that it would have been dangerous for him if he were not an expert in martial arts. [2] Thus, he was in charge of molding and training him in martial arts.

Dragon Ball At the beginning of the Quest for the Dragon Balls Arc, his power was above the average human, here he had a base level of 10 units[3] and when he transformed into a Gigantic Monkey with a multiplier effect by 10, that is, he had a power of 100. Goku then went through Turtle School Training where he greatly increased his powers, managing to surpass Gilan and Nam.

During the arc of the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament, Ten Shinhan faced each other in an even battle, which ended in defeat[5]. After taking the Ultra Divine Water, his power increased to 260 units, being able to defeat the Great Demon King Piccolo[5].

During training at the Sacred Temple of Kami, Goku learns the technique of flight and the sense of ki, as well as achieving the tranquility of the sky and the speed of lightning. Then in the arc of the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament, where he made use of his Super-Kamehameha during the fight against Piccolo[5].

Dragon Ball Z When Raditz arrives on Earth, he uses his tracker to measure his brother's power, which was 334 in heavy clothing, 416 in light clothing, and 924 when using the Super-Kamehameha. After training with the North Kai, his power reaches 8,000 units, and he also learned the Kaio-ken, which allowed him to multiply his power, having a power of 24,000 when using the Kaio-ken x3. In the film, Dragon Ball Z: A Decisive Super Battle for Planet Earth, Tullece measures Goku's power at 30,000 units, then he uses Kaio-ken multiplied 10 times, increasing his power to 300,000 units, surpassing Tullece briefly, until the latter eats the Fruit of the Tree of Sacred Essence.

Upon arrival in Namek, he reached the power of 90,000 units, being able to multiply it with his Kaio-ken, reaching 180,000 and even greater quantities. In his battle against Freeza, after Saiyan power, his power increased to 3,000,000 units, then with the status of First Grade Super Saiyan, he multiplied it by 50, making a power of 150,000,000 units[3].

During the Android and Cell Arc, after training in the Hall of Soul and Time, the Super Saiyan reaches Maximum Power, being more powerful than his companions, but slightly weaker than Perfect Cell.

In the Majin-Boo Arc, after seven years of training in the Otherworld, he achieves the transformation of Super Saiyan 2, being as powerful as Vegeta under Bobbidi's Mind Control in the same state, but inferior to Innocent Majin-Boo; it is later revealed that he got the Super Saiyan 3 transformation, with which he is superior to Majin-Boo Innocent and slightly superior to Little Boo, although inferior to Super-Boo.

Advertisement Dragon Ball Super In the Beerus God of Destruction Arc, Beerus estimates that Goku in base form would not be able to beat Freeza (who had a maximum power of 120,000,000 units). After reaching the Super Saiyan God, his power surpasses Gohan Ultimate State, Super Saiyan Gotenks, 3 and Super Saiyan Vegeta 2 (when he gets angry); according to Akira Toriyama, in terms of power, Goku as Super Saiyan God would be level 6, Beerus 10 and Whis 15[6].

According to Weekly Shonen Jump #20, Goku in Blue Super Saiyan in the Resurrection of 'F' has an "overwhelming power that the world has never seen before", implying that he is at least stronger than the Beerus who contained his strength in a great way in the previous arc. Whis also mentions in the film, that Goku and Vegeta were strong enough in Super Saiyan Blue, that if they were to fight Beerus, they could have defeated him. Goku and Vegeta have indeed surpassed the level of the Super Saiyan God (in the anime, they manage to dodge all the attacks of Beerus who was enraged because he was woken up by the noises of Champa's arrival on his planet). In the Sixth Universe Arc against the Seventh Universe, Goku trains for three days (three years) in the Hall of Soul and Time together with Vegeta, mastering his new transformation and greatly increasing his power in his base form, in order to face the warriors of Champa in the Interuniversal Martial Arts Association Tournament. In the anime, during the tournament he manages to merge the Kaio-ken x10 with the Blue Super Saiyan managing to give Hit a fight for a limited time, but because of this he ends up exhausted and suffers a ki delay, however in the manga his power as a Super Saiyan God is superior to Hit. Subsequently, he has only used the Kaio-ken with the Blue Super Saiyan against Zamas Pothala, in the preliminaries of the Universe Survival Arc, and in training with Gohan.

In the manga, in the "Future" Trunks Arc, Goku managed to seal the ultimate and overflowing power of the Blue Super Saiyan within his body. The weakness of the Blue Super Saiyan is that his power lasts for a limited time and he has faced that weakness, overcoming it. Goku fights Zamas Pothala on an equal footing with one hundred percent of his capacity, thus completing the ultimate Blue Super Saiyan, which still carries some risks depending on the amount of power Goku can store inside his body.

By using the Selfish Doctrine, Goku reaches a level which even the gods cannot reach, surpassing the Gods of Destruction and managing to have a fight with a Jiren who increases his power to the maximum, not only surpassing his strength, but also Goku was able to completely counter Jiren's ki ball to the point where he not only held it in his hand but disintegrated it with nothing but a movement with his fingers.

SKILLS

Skills He is an expert in martial arts, under the style of the Turtle School, he is known for being close to a prodigy, managing to learn techniques and levels of strength that other individuals would take time to learn, he even knew how to use skills such as reading the mind without even knowing how to do it. Goku has been shown to use different parts of his body to help him in combat, such as shooting a Kamehameha with his feet, using his eyes to launch a ki laser beam at the Namek Arc and Freeza among other examples.

Son Goku is a born martial arts expert and aficionado, managing to read his opponents' movements and get used to their attacks and speed. Usually in combat, Goku reserves large amounts of strength and holds back to such an extent that he apparently lowers his ki level to absurdly low points in order to save energy, however, he also demonstrated the ability to be able to unleash all his power just at the precise second he launches a physical attack. As a Saiyan, Goku is able to use Saiyan power, which allows him to surpass his strength whenever he receives large amounts of damage or fatal wounds. Goku being an alien also has enhanced senses of smell, taste, and sight, which further increases his combat senses.

Goku's body is much more durable than that of normal humans, being essentially invulnerable to all weapons made by Earthlings. However, while he is naturally durable thanks to his Saiyan physiology, he has limits, as other powerful beings like himself can hurt, and potentially kill him, if he doesn't defend himself properly.

Also compared to most humans, including those trained in the ki arts, Son Goku possesses a great deal of strength, speed, and endurance. For example, as a child, he could lift a car over his head and pull it with ease, and during his training with Kame-Sen'nin Goku he could push massive rock formations that would at least weigh more than 100 tons. At the height of his strength, he showed the ability to destroy mountains, islands, and even greatly damage entire planets with physical strength alone. For speed, he showed supersonic speeds even faster than light when he reached the Saiyan Arch. By the time he became Super Saiyan God, his speed had reached massive speeds that the speed of light and his physical strength was enough for one of the shockwaves from his blows to be felt throughout the universe, incalculably damaging and destroying many planets and stars, up to this point, just four blows between Beerus and Goku are enough to completely destroy the universe.

Goku usually uses ki-based techniques, using them in a fight as support, defense and attack such as the Kamehameha, these are performed through the control and mastery of ki, born from the creativity and skill of the character.

PERSONALITY

Personality Due to a contusion to his head during his childhood, which almost ended his life, Goku suffered from amnesia and lost his aggressive nature and desire for destruction that characterizes the innate instinct of Saiyans. After that accident, he became a noble, cheerful, calm person, who was very difficult to make angry to the point of bordering on innocence, to the point of being unable to corrupt himself with the techniques of the demon Akkuman, whose special technique Devil's Radiance takes advantage of the slightest hints of evil in the soul of the opponents to make them explode, since Goku possessed a clean and innocent heart. This feature also protects Goku when facing the sorcerer Bobbidi, as Bobbidi can easily manipulate all those whose hearts have evil. Even so, he was able to maintain all the biological characteristics of his breed. If Goku had not suffered this blow, Toriyama said that Goku would have had the same appearance and personality as Tullece, as he created Tullece as the negative part of Goku. Goku Black is also a clear example of this.

Goku raises his son Gohan under these same conditions, making him humble and likeable, with the difference that Gohan studies too much and is very intelligent in scientific aspects, partly because of how strict his mother is.

True to his race, Goku possesses an extremely strong combative spirit, and is unable to resist fighting someone who seems strong to him even at the most inopportune moments. He is extremely competitive and trains constantly, as he is never satisfied with his current strength and always seeks to go above and beyond. His fixation on this aspect can be classified as an obsession, as he gives absolute priority to his training almost above anything else. This is why, although he loves his family and protects them whenever necessary, he is not at all a family person and a quiet and peaceful life soon becomes boring for him, which is why he often prefers to leave and leave his family for long periods of time to concentrate on training and improving as a warrior.

Goku has little shame when showing his body, since on several occasions he has exhibited himself naked in front of people. For example: in front of the snake queen, in front of his closest group of friends when leaving the hot springs or to get into a lake to obtain a Dragon Ball.

As much as, paradoxically, he is the strongest warrior in the entire universe, he is not exempt from weaknesses. His greatest weakness is being easily manageable by his temperamental and domineering wife Chi-Chi (she forced him to get a driver's license and work as a farmer, enraged by his laziness). That's why Piccolo said that Super Saiyans also have weaknesses (mentioned in the Dragon Ball Z anime). In Dragon Ball Super, Goku would later accept that he liked Chi-Chi just because of that, because of that dominant temperament, and Vegeta assures him that this is because Saiyanas have that character. Another weakness unique to anime alone is its trypanophobia (phobia of all kinds of sharp objects) such as injections, needles or anything that with which it is easily scared.

Since much of his childhood was spent living alone in the mountains after his grandfather's death, Goku initially lacked common, everyday or academic knowledge. He was unable to tell if a person was a man or a woman without first touching his body and did not have a very developed judgment, so he could take things literally without fully understanding the context of the situation. This is evidenced in the occasion when a Pteranodon kidnaps Bulma and sarcastically tells her that they are going to talk for a while and to wait for them, to which Goku pays attention without realizing the danger and without acting until Bulma herself asks him to.

Beyond that, Goku has a basic education from his grandfather, being able to read as he demonstrated in his stay with Kame Sen'nin, and some teachings such as treating girls well. While over the years Goku managed to adapt greatly to the world beyond Baozi Mountain, he still often demonstrates a degree of ignorance and naivety.

Despite his poor intellectual training, mathematics being his weakest point (mentioned in the Universal Martial Arts Association Tournament exam in Dragon Ball Super), he is in battle an accomplished martial artist, possessing a great ability to fight, with a high mimetic learning (he learned to do the Kamehameha by seeing it only once), ability to overcome his limits in the middle of combat and his good command of the strategyGISWith the passing of the years, Goku becomes very confident when it comes to fighting and does it in a very carefree way, as can be seen in The Resurrection of 'F', which makes his body vulnerable and has weak points against weak enemies.

FEATURES

Characteristics As a Saiyan, he possessed certain characteristics that made him very different from other human beings: he had a tail that allowed him to transform into a Giant Ape if he stared at the full moon, an ape with immense destructive power, which was ripped off numerous times by various characters, including Kami to prevent him from transforming; Saiyans have a peculiarity in their hair and it is that it is always a dark color and after a few years it stops growing and remains that way for life; they also have the characteristic that every time they have an extreme fight, they come back with more power than they had, this is how Saiyans train very hard to increase their Ki.

At the beginning, Goku appears as a young martial artist with a tail and superhuman strength. Five years later in the story, it is revealed that he is a lower-class alien of the Saiyan race, and that his real name is Kakarotto (his original name on his home planet).

APPEARANCE

Design She is 1.75 m tall and weighs about 62 kg as an adult[40], she has black hair with tips and a gray sheen, this consists of three strands hanging to the right of her forehead and two hanging to the left, her hair is also raised on the forehead with four peaks and three strands behind (later in the anime, gain five spikes on the forehead and four strands on the back). This hair shape remains unchanged throughout the series in its base state, only changing when it is transformed or if he made an aesthetic change with a comb and hair gel, such as when he worked as a bodyguard[41] to keep his hair fixed, but it returned to its normal shape after a few minutes.

They are Goku in their childhood. They are Goku in their childhood.

The most common way to see him dressed is by wearing his traditional martial arts Gi, which ranges from red-orange to warm orange, which has a navy blue short-sleeved shirt to match. He used to wear a blue Obi ribbon, later changed to a blue sash. At the beginning, Gi has the kanji of the Turtle School; he has also used a Gi with nothing visible; and the first kanji of his name "Go". Matching his clothing, Goku wears blue wristbands, Chinese martial arts shoes (for boys) and navy blue boots with yellow or red edges and beige bows; during her training with Kami she wore a light blue outfit with her hair rolled up in a white cloth that she later changes to her Gi. In the beginning of Dragon Ball, Goku is first introduced wearing a blue Gi with red bracelets, a white obi tied in an arc over his waist with dark blue kung fu shoes. As a child, he also uses the Magic Staff and has a tail due to his Saiyan origin. Beginning the Arc of the 22nd Edition of the World Martial Arts Tournament and for most Dragon Ball, Goku wears the basic Gi of the Turtle School as his main outfit until after his training with Kami and Mr. Popo. In the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament Arc and for the rest of Dragon Ball, Goku is stripped of his tail permanently by Kami (through unknown methods) and wears an upgrade to his Gi that features the same crop top and boots that become part of his signature costume throughout Dragon Ball Z.

Despite being a Saiyan, Goku has never preferred to wear the same armor as his predecessors, which he normally wore while serving as the army of the Freeza Army, due to his devotion to the Earth. The only notable time he wore a Combat Armor was during his training with Gohan inside the Hall of Soul and Time. This armor set was identical to the one Vegeta was wearing at the time. As soon as he finished his training, Goku changed back to his regular clothes, claiming that he wanted to fight like an Earthling.

In Dragon Ball Super, while he was a disciple of Whis in the Golden Freeza Arc and the Sixth Universe arc against the Seventh Universe, he changes to a warm orange suit with Whis' signature, and no shirt underneath. He wears long cerulean bracelets and boots of the same color with gray toe and trim, similar to those of Future Trunks.

In the Namek and Freeza Arc, Goku wears an outfit similar to his classic dogi with the kanji "Go" with a loose blue cloth ribbon. In Dragon Ball Super: Broly and Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, Goku has the orange dogi of a lighter color than he normally wears in the anime series.

In Dragon Ball Super: Broly, Goku wears winter clothes in conjunction with the dogi of the Namek Arc and Freeza. This consists of a blue coat with white lines, black leather and with the initials "SAB" in violet in the chest area, this coat extends to the chin at the top and to the knees at the bottom, wearing it in conjunction with black gloves.

Son Goku (孫そん悟ご空くう, Son Gokū¿?) is the protagonist of the Dragon Ball manga and anime created by Akira Toriyama. His real and birth name is Kakarotto (カカロット¿?) and he is one of the few Saiyans who managed to survive the total destruction of Planet Vegeta at the hands of Freeza. He is the second son of Bardock and Gine, younger brother of Raditz, adopted grandson of Son Gohan, husband of Chi-Chi, father of Son Gohan and Son Goten, in turn he is also the grandfather of Pan and ancestor of Son Goku Jr.

Originally sent to Earth as an infant scout with the mission of conquering it. However, falling down a ravine gave him a brutal blow that, although it almost killed him, altered his memory and annulled all the violent instincts of his species, which made him grow up with a pure and kind heart, but retaining all the powers of his race. However, in the new Dragon Ball continuity it is established that he was sent by his parents to Earth with the aim of surviving at all costs the destruction of his planet by Freeza. Later, Kakarot, now known as Son Goku, would become the prince consort of Mount Frypan and leader of the Z Fighters, as well as the greatest defender of Earth and the Seventh Universe, managing to keep them safe from destruction on countless occasions, despite not considering himself a hero or savior.
