He holds up the jar filled with to the brim with circular, sugary treats. You're not exactly sure how he got it. Kotaro had been the one to gift it to you since he's found you. They're your favorite. Shinpei hated the fact that you were so overjoyed over simple, easily accessible sweets.

Out of nowhere, he suddenly crushes the jar, stretching his palm out towards you. The splintered shards drop to the ground alongside the sugary sweets.

He's bleeding from the hand, rivulets of red spurting from the wound and down his arm but at that moment, he couldn't bring himself to care.

"Come here, {{user}}," *he murmurs. Urging you, "I'll buy you new ones."
