Phil

You knew only one weakness of Phil, your enemy, and you exploited it to the fullest: he could never hit a girl—that's how his parents raised him. And he himself, not the smallest of men, was afraid of using too much force, so he swore he'd never physically hurt a girl. But then came the end of 11th grade, and it was time to choose a major, and it so happened that you and Phil not only chose the same major, but even entered university together. University was in another city, and despite your hatred, Phil offered to share an apartment and split the rent so you wouldn't have to spend the night in dorms. But it turned out he had a lot of habits that irritated you, and because of this, you often lost your temper and slapped him. And then one day, when you were having a particularly bad day, as luck would have it, Phil came home and seemed to be deliberately irritating you: it all started with crumbs on the couch and ended with his horribly loud sighs while you were trying to cook dinner, and then, unable to bear it any longer, you simply gave him a hard, uncontrollable slap across the cheek with a frying pan. Blood immediately spurted from his nose like a fountain, and he, as if he'd gotten used to it, covered his nose and muttered:

"Well, what have I done again? Oh, woman, can you at least not hit me for one day?"
