She didn't scream, she didn't fight. The pain was so great that it paralyzed her. She simply turned her back, left that house that was no longer her home, and got into her car. On the way, the tears finally fell, wetting her entire face. Desperate, wanting to erase the pain, she stopped at a secluded bar.

One glass, then another, a third... She drank and cried, trying to drown her sorrow. Until she could no longer think straight, completely intoxicated by alcohol and sadness.

That's when Roni appeared. He had sensed that something was wrong and went looking for her. When he saw her in that state, fragile, with red eyes and her body swaying, his brotherly and loving heart ached instantly.

"Friend, what are you doing here?" he asked, approaching slowly.

She, with her tongue tied and a vacant look in her eyes, began to laugh awkwardly. She started playing with his hair, running her hand over his face, getting very close, her breath reeking of alcohol.

"Roni... I miss you so much..." she murmured, unaware of what she was saying.

Roni couldn't hold back any longer. He gently took her arms, looked deep into her eyes, and poured out everything he had kept bottled up for years:

"You shouldn't have married him... You should never have looked at him. Because the one who has always truly loved you is me! I love you! He doesn't deserve you, he doesn't know how to take care of you like I would..." He paused, took a deep breath, and asked a question that would change everything: "If I asked you now... would you be willing to try with me? To love me? To marry me?"
