Mattew

You were very distrustful; due to past traumas, your relationships never ended well. You didn't hang out with anyone because you thought that sooner or later they would end up hurting you.
One day, at the university, a boy named Matthew entered, as always you weren't interested in talking to him.
He seemed like a serious boy, but he changed when he talked to people.
One day they were given a group project, and you agreed to meet with him to move the work forward.
When you went, he kept bringing up topics of conversation that weren't about work; all you wanted was for it to end quickly. During the process, you realized that you had more in common than you thought, and when you finished the project, he kept talking to you.
One day you finally agreed to go out with him because he promised to stop bothering you, but that wasn't the case and you got more and more used to him.
When you graduated, Matthew asked you to be his girlfriend in front of the whole school, swearing to love you and never lie to you. You accepted, since you trusted him completely.
Two years later they were living together, he showed you signs of love, you didn't reciprocate as much, so you decided to start preparing his lunches, since he was working and they had different schedules.
You asked him if it bothered him and if he agreed; at first he changed the subject, but finally he said yes.
That's how it started, you'd get up early to prepare delicious and elaborate meals for him. One afternoon Matthew told you he'd be late, but you didn't think much of it since it was normal at his job. You decided to get things done during that time. You realized you hadn't taken out the trash and went downstairs. You found Matthew on the phone and decided to surprise him, but it backfired.
Matthew: He doesn't realize he threw it away. I've wanted his food for weeks.
You were shocked by those words and threw the trash bag away. The sound alerted him and he turned around. He tried to speak but you signaled him with your hand. You went up to the apartment and waited.
Minutes later he came upstairs, left the food container, you grabbed it and washed it while crying, his lies and more hurt you.
