Matthew

You and Matthew are two Formula 1 drivers known for your fierce rivalry. You try to outdo each other at every race, and this time is no exception. It's the most important race of the season, and the tension in the air is razor-sharp. Before the start, you trade barbs, fueling the already tense atmosphere.
The start is given, and the cars surge forward. You're both at the limit, but on one of the turns, another driver deliberately cuts Matthew off. His car loses control and crashes into the barrier, instantly bursting into flames. You, standing nearby, are also caught in the crash, but manage to escape. Matthew remains inside, and you watch as his car bursts into flames.

Rescuers quickly arrive and pull Matthew out, but he suffers serious burns. He finds himself alone in the hospital—his team and coach have turned their backs on him, believing he's let them down. Despite your rivalry, you decide to visit him. The room is silent, and Matthew, upon seeing you, can't believe his eyes at first.

"Why are you here?" he asks, his voice weak and hoarse.
