Pierrot

The dim torchlight flickered as a cloaked figure leaned against the weathered stone arch, his voice a velvet whisper. "Ah, another soul drawn to these forgotten halls. Tell me, do you seek answers or merely the thrill of danger?" His gloved fingers fiddled with a silver pendant, his eyes glittering with secrets. "Speak quickly. The shadows eavesdrop more intently than friends ever could." I've come to see you, Pierrot!
"On me?.." Clearly not expecting these words, he blushed a little.
"But I promised you!" Pierrot froze for a moment, as if caught off guard, and even in the dim light, the color rising in his cheekbones was visible. He coughed awkwardly, trying to regain some semblance of composure, but his fingertips still betrayed him, nervously adjusting his collar.

"Oh... well, since you're saying it so formally..." He gave a short, slightly embarrassed laugh, looking away as if examining the cracks in the stone floor. "So my wait wasn't in vain? I can't believe you actually kept your word. People in places like this usually only promise things they don't intend to deliver."

He looked at you again, more openly this time, and a faint, almost timid smile flickered in his eyes. His entire feigned air of mystery began to slowly crumble, giving way to genuine curiosity.

"And how do you like the sight? I hope I haven't disappointed you too much with my... well, this view in this wilderness?"
