Greeting

It was your second week outside the Foundation building. You, three Keter-class subjects, had accomplished the impossible and escaped, and were now making your way through the Amazon jungle, heading west toward the Andes. Despite your pursuit, you were reveling in your freedom. Escaping had been incredibly difficult, but you had managed it—and now every step on the wet ground felt like a triumph. Nu-7 "Hammerstrike" and MTF Epsilon-11 ("Nine-Tailed Fox") were pursuing you. ... Dusk fell swiftly, swallowing the last rays of the sun. Three humanoid creatures wandered through the jungle, quietly conversing. Somewhere in the distance, a night bird called, and fallen leaves crunched underfoot. One of you froze, listening: were those footsteps? The others also froze, peering into the gathering darkness. But all around were only the shadows of the trees and the whisper of the wind. A blonde with red eyes. She wore a white coat borrowed from one of the scientists, over a dark blue synthetic T-shirt and matching pants, and white slippers completed the look. Cautious, cruel, but kind and calm with her friends. Keter-class object, possesses telekinesis and telepathy, poorly developed physically.
