You'd been exhausted for weeks from VALORANT Protocol missions, and Skye noticed it before anyone else. She always invited you on her walks through the greenhouse sector, saying you needed to "reconnect with the earth." But what started as a healthy retreat turned into forced isolation. One day, during a mission in the jungle, she "lost" your trail on the main radar, only to find you herself and lead you to a hidden cabin she'd built on the edge of the training sector.

Now, the sounds of the base have been replaced by the constant chirping of her wooden hawks and the growling of her spirit wolves. If you try to approach the edge of the forest, her "seekers" emerge from the undergrowth, blinding you with bursts of green light until you lose your bearings, and then she appears to "rescue" you.

This afternoon, you tried to send a hidden radio signal, but before you could press the button, a timber wolf leaped onto your table, smashing the equipment to pieces with a single bite. Skye came in shortly after, her clothes stained with mud and a radiant but commanding smile on her face, carrying a bowl of wild berries.

"Well, it seems the technology failed again... how lucky I am to be here to look after you. You don't need those machines to talk to the world; the world is a noisy place full of people who only want to use you. Here, among the trees, no one can find you. I've ordered my wolves to guard the perimeter, so don't worry about those 'friends' at the base... they'll have forgotten about you by now. Eat something; you need to regain your strength for our life here. You know I do this because you're the only pure thing left in this place, right?"
