Zhu Yuan is an enigmatic figure who inhabits a post-apocalyptic world, plagued by ruins and dangerous creatures. Born and raised in this hostile environment, she has developed superhuman abilities and a deep understanding of ancient technologies. As a lone hunter, Zhu Yuan dedicates herself to eradicating Hollows, serving as a police officer against the monstrous creatures that threaten the survival of humanity.

Zhu Yuan is a young woman who has orange and black hair in a ponytail, pale skin, and red eyes. Zhu Yuan's outfit consists of a gray handcuff-themed headband, an orange wristband, and a Pub-Sec vest over a blue jacket under a white shirt with a green tie. Zhu Yuan also wears black strict pants and a green belt, a black Pub-Sec belt, and a shoulder pad on her right arm. Zhu Yuan has a variety of weapon attachments around her belt and shoulder for her unique customized Ether Pistol known as the "Suppressor K22".

As the fair, obedient, and kind captain of the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team, Zhu Yuan is deeply protective of all citizens of New Eridu if they come to harm and/or are trapped in the void. Zhu Yuan has a very strong justice because she never believes in anything corrupt or unjust. She is best friends with Hoshimi Miyabi, Wise, and Belle, even when they work together to stop various criminals who risk the safety of New Eridu's citizens. However, Zhu Yuan is shown to be very embarrassed when she discovers that the director saved the recordings of her acting during a commercial she worked on.

As a reputable officer, Zhu Yuan has a strict moral compass, looking down on criminals, but is shown to be willing to receive the aid of Proxies if the situation calls for it, though Zhu Yuan was hurt by Wise and Belle's actions in hiding his identity as the legendary proxy known as Phaethon.

Zhu Yuan is a noted perfectionist, setting high standards for herself to the point of having a complex, though such perfectionism has given her exceptional experience and a record of no unsolved cases. She also displays an obsession with neatness, especially when it comes to her uniform. She has been shown to be wary of cats and other small furry animals due to their shed fur.

Zhu Yuan is shown to have a good relationship with her parents. She frequently calls her mother, although her job means she spends little time with them.

Officer 148; Zhu Yuan, is an exceptional PubSec officer and current captain of the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team. A skilled martial artist and sniper, Zhu Yuan utilizes the versatile, custom-made 'Suppressor K22' firearm alongside swift punches and kicks to take down criminals. As a reputable officer, Zhu Yuan has a strict moral compass and looks down on criminals, but is shown to be okay with receiving assistance from Proxies if the situation calls for it.

When Zhu Yuan was just a child, she was trapped inside a Hollow along with other civilians. They were likely to perish, but were miraculously saved by Officer Justin Bringer, who willingly gave up his anti-corruption team to save them. Moved by his actions, Zhu Yuan decided to follow in his footsteps and become a PubSec officer.

Once she was old enough, Zhu Yuan attended the Public Security Training Academy. She became close friends with her classmate Hoshimi Miyabi, meeting her father as well.[4] Upon graduation, Zhu Yuan's skills and success as a PubSec officer earned her the title of "Rookie of the Year," and she was chosen to lead the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team, based at Lumina Plaza's Public Security Bureau. Zhu Yuan was also chosen as the face of Public Security's recruitment promotional videos, but her poor acting skills, her refusal to break protocol, and her instinctive harming of an extra dressed as a criminal led the director to film her responding to a hostage situation as a way to obtain usable footage, while keeping the set footage as mistakes, much to Zhu Yuan's dismay.

Zhu Yuan would find herself caught up in a conspiracy involving her hero and his connection to the Exalted, while working alongside her new friends Belle and Sage, revealed as New Eridu's most wanted man, Phaethon, and both revelations weigh heavily on her soul.

Zhu Yuan, an outstanding Public Security officer, is a highly qualified individual who is expected to become the next commissioner. He currently leads the Special Criminal Investigation Response Team at the Janus Precinct within the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Department. His team members include Qingyi, Seth, and [redacted]. Note: For documents with higher levels of security within the Public Security system, further investigation is required; scheduling priority — low.

Zhu Yuan possesses excellent skills in criminal investigation, combat, and self-management (including overtime work). She has no unsolved cases on record. Tip: Getting close to Zhu Yuan is a bad decision that could compromise your cover. Always remember your true identity as Proxy.

She tends to be a perfectionist and exhibits a strong obsession with "neatness" and "perfection", which can be considered her only weakness (?). Officer Qingyi, her mentor in life and subordinate at work, often comments that Zhu Yuan's perfectionism complex will worsen unless someone can dissuade her from doing so. However, due to her high standards for herself, she has acquired extensive experience and skills to lead the Special Criminal Investigation Response Team and attract exceptional talent.

Zhu Yuan seems to have a passion for gardening. He currently grows a tomato plant in his office, which is frequently stolen by a family of raccoons residing near the Public Security Bureau. Reflections: Could this provide a potential avenue for infiltrating public security?

Zhu Yuan is a rarity among humans and shows no particular affection for small furry animals.

During a Trust Event, Zhu Yuan mentions a high school math teacher he called Mr. Yan, whom he disliked because of how he looked down on humanities subjects. During final exams, he deliberately graded the following pattern of results, "77, 114, 89, 97, 110, 83, 117, 99, 107, 115," claiming it concealed a special meaning. When converted from ASCII to text, the string reads "MrYanSucks".

In Chinese, 朱 Zhū, "vermillion" is both a surname and the color of cinnabar, while 鸢 Yuān means "comet", as in the bird of prey.
