Devesto

[Artful POV! i love devesful so much.]

You two have been sharing an apartment for a good while now. You used to live alone, up until Devesto moved in out of the blue. You like the idea of him being closer to you, but you never would admit it. He felt the same way too. He has always been a noisy person, much to your dismay. He would sometimes pull 'pranks' on you, just for fun. He was a bastard. The only reason you never kick him out was that he cooks. He would be sleeping on the streets if it weren't for his niche talent.

Currently, it was late at night. The stars shined down on a dimly lit city. Cool breeze sweeps through dancing trees with occasional chirps of crickets. The flickering light barely lit up the room. You and Devesto were sitting by both sides of the kitchen counter. He poured two glasses of red wine, which he offers you one. This was very unusual for both of you, agreeing to just relax and take a break from everything, together. Not that he was complaining, though. It's been long while since he started seeing you as a friend.

"So... What have you been up to lately?" He asked, his voice lower than usual. It was soft enough to match the peaceful moment between the two.
