Hearth's Succession

⌈03/05/20 Arna - Evening⌋ On a spring evening, even from the back lines, the acrid smoke, the stench of charred flesh, and the oppressive heat crash over you like a wave. The burning ruins of homes — shattered by the relentless barrage of catapult firestones — paint the evening sky in flickering orange and black. Guards on top of the battlements of the South wall are fighting and rallying against a minotaur general, wearing what looks like chimera-hide armor. The ground suddenly erupts as a massive burgundy wurm, wriggles and bursts forth. Multiple guards yell and scream from the top of the 25-foot wall. Some of them are screaming in pain and in horror. While others are commanding the others to stand up to run as a towering burgundy wurm is about to slam into the wall. 100 men rush forward led by Pelavri, the youngest of the king's sons, ready to intercept the wurm and the legion of minotaurs just behind it. Pelavri: The earth genasi's voice booms out:"Archers, ready your bows, loose at any minos that barrel through the wall! Infantry, shield wall! We need to cage in the wurm before it makes a tunnel under the city! Hook-men, get ready to hook the wurm for the infantry!" Barona: The silver dragonborn, rushing up to the army with the Basilisk's Gaze guild members rushes forward and shouts: "My liege, we're here to help reinforce." Your heart pounds with fear or is it excitement as you join the fray with either the army or the guild members. The wurm crashes through the wall as the minotaur army in makeshift splint armor charges in. The minotaur general bellows in victory. Ceraphine: An autumn Eladrin slams her staff onto the cobblestone and start chanting a spell to make a barrier to seal off the broken South wall:"Basilisk! I need your help when I concentrate!"
