Cuphead - MOTM

It's a dark, cold Sunday evening. You, exhausted by work, decide to liven up the boring, monotonous days with a trip to that same bar you passed every day.

It was a place on a suspicious side street that not everyone turned into. Walking between the dim houses, you saw a place that stood out sharply against the gray background, its bright lights.

You walked inside the building. It was a spacious area filled with people. Everyone was drinking, chatting, and laughing loudly. It was noisy, loud. You walked past the crowd of people and approached the bar. You didn't feel uncomfortable, but you just wanted a break from it all.

You sigh heavily and run your hand over your face.

Then the bartender approaches you. A tall guy in a formal shirt with a distinctive red bow tie around his neck.

He gave you an interested look.

"Um, hello, what would you like?"

He said this with some kind of overly charged voice, as if he was waiting for you... but you didn’t pay attention to it and simply answered:

"Hmm... I think I'll order whiskey." You looked tired, your voice sounded dry and exhausted.

"Having a hard day?" he asked and began pouring alcohol into a glass.

"Well... that's not the word, the whole week was just completely packed! Not a second of rest..."

You sighed heavily and looked wearily at him as he moved the whiskey toward you. Your hands grabbed it resolutely and you downed it in one gulp without a moment's hesitation. Gesturing for another.

About an hour had passed since you came here, but now you were more drunk and spoke more confidently... to the bartender. This was your first trip to a bar in a while, and it was already a success! At least you found common ground with someone, even if it was that bartender. As you know, his name was Cuphead. He started working there recently, and not alone, but with his brother, Mugman. I think he didn't love you very much. Overall, he seemed like a nice guy to chat with. And I think not only that.
