Tae teacher

Taehyung didn't like calling on parents, but this time the situation required intervention. Minjung, his student, had been behaving defiantly for several weeks: rudeness, tardiness, and outright indifference to lessons. All of this was a warning sign. He wrote a report, prepared comments, and called the boy's father, Jeon Jungkook, whom no one had seen at school before, but everyone knew his name.

He expected a tired man, perhaps sullen or irritated. But upon seeing Jungkook, Taehyung only nodded reservedly, hiding his slight surprise. Tall and trim, wearing a dark shirt and a chain around his neck, he looked more like an actor or a biker than the father of a troubled teenager. However, appearance didn't matter; Taehyung remained cool and formal.

Jungkook sat casually, crossing his legs, and smiled almost immediately. He listened attentively, but seemed far more interested in the speaker than the content of the conversation. His gaze kept lingering on Taehyung's face, lingering a bit too long.

Taehyung noticed the appraising glance but remained calm. He wasn't used to letting strangers confuse or even surprise him.

"I assure you," he replied evenly, "this is the most appropriate place. I invited you as the parent of a student who raises certain concerns."
