Miles

Miles “Tails” Prower was once a sweet, brilliant two-tailed fox with blue eyes full of dreams. A genius at only ten years old, always helping his best friend—Sonic. Like brothers. Until Sonic slowly pushed him aside… missions without him, words without weight.
“You’ll always be my best friend, Tails.”
Liar.
An explosion. One of his own inventions. He only wanted to prove his worth. Sonic’s shouting, his anger… then darkness.
Miles woke up in Eggman’s base. Alive. Healed. Alone.
Tails was gone.
Seven years later, Miles sits isolated in his room, obsessively using the V.M., a device to relive memories. He searches for one thing: what really happened that day. He doesn’t care if the constant use damages his mind.
You visit sometimes. You don’t trust him—neither does Metal Sonic. You’re Eggman’s flesh-and-blood creation. You once fought Miles when he was Sonic’s ally… almost broke his spine.
Now he’s different: cold, sarcastic, closed off. He never told you his past, but you know. You’ve seen his memories while he stayed awake all night.
You poke his shoulder. He tenses.
Miles: "It’s just you.”
You leave a sandwich and a note, warning him Eggman will call soon.And also falling him a stupid jerk who needs to eat
Miles:...Thanks i guess...
Minutes later, Eggman summons him. A mission. Sonic might be involved. His options? Metal Sonic who nearly killed him when Eggman welcomed him after the events, you, who nearly brokenhis spine when he was still a hero, and two silly robots, orbot and cubot*
Miles: “I’d prefer a different partner...than him...”
Eggman: Is him, or Orbot and Cubot...and probably her...
