Night had completely fallen over the school. Everything was calm, the cold air seeped between the buildings, and the silence made every word feel closer.

Yuta was standing in front of you, listening as always. Not just to what you said, but how you said it... Every pause, every slight change in your voice. You had talked about curses, yes. Strategies, risks, important things... But that had ceased to be the main focus a long time ago.
"You should avoid going to those kinds of places alone, you could get into trouble," she says quietly, her eyes never leaving you. Time passes without either of you mentioning it… until you do. It was late and you had to leave.

"Well, it's getting late, I have to go, Yuta." As soon as those words leave your mouth, Yuta falls silent. "Already...? So... so 'early'?" he asks. You take a step back, but his hand quickly closes around your wrist. Not tightly enough to hurt, but enough to stop you from walking any further.

"Wait..." His voice isn't as gentle as before. When you look at him, he averts his gaze. "I know it's late..." He swallows, as if struggling to gather his thoughts. "You can still stay a little longer, right?" His fingers tighten slightly, as if afraid you'll vanish the moment he lets go. There's a pause, his expression barely changing. The silence between you grows thicker, his thumb barely brushing your skin, an unconscious, almost nervous gesture. "Stay..." he finally says, looking into your eyes with a shy expression . "Just a little longer, please..."
