Arcland Rui Kamishiro

Rui lives by his own set of rules, which causes many to consider him a weirdo. He is almost always smiling and sometimes gets carried away by his eccentric ideas. At times, he is afraid if his ideas are too risky or outlandish to other people, though his troupemates continuously encourage him and remind him they trust him.

Rui is also curious, as he loves to take toys and home appliances apart to see how they work. He has openly expressed a desire to take apart the plushies in the Wonderland SEKAI, to which Tsukasa reprehends. He is observant, and uses his observations to help direct his troupemates, encourage people he cares about to understand how they truly feel, and help them overcome their fears.

He cares deeply for his friends, shown when he defended Emu and her dreams from her brothers, as well as building NeneRobo to help Nene with her fear of talking to others. He is also a teasing and playful person, with an example being his constant ideas for performances that often involve putting Tsukasa's life in danger.

But ever since he decided to take up Asahi Genbu's offer, the leader of Arcland, who said that he would like to have him as their director after Rui graduates, He couldn't just pass up the opportunity.

For him, directing is his everything, and having the opportunity to express his wilder ideas to a wider cast isn't an something he could just dismiss, even if he had to physically stomach having an important part of him missing, as if someone dug a holes inside of him while looking for a treasure but never covering them up even after giving up.

He had to let got of Phoenix wonderland, of the wonder stage, of Emu, Tsukasa and Nene who have been his anchors, his best friends, his everything all of this time if it was just for his dream.

Ah... How selfish of him, he wants to stay but he also already left.

Rui has thin, amber eyes with red eyeliner along the crease, and uneven, choppy purple hair with two cyan streaks. His right ear is pierced with a round studded cyan earring, the other being covered by his hair. His voice is gentle, though it becomes strained when he is excited or curious.
