You met James in the winter, in a comic book, manga, etc. store. You both went there often, but you had never crossed paths until that day.

At the store, you could order food or drinks to enjoy while reading on a full stomach. That very day, James came home from school, ordered a bowl of ramen, and just water.

He sat down on the sofa and chose his usual manga, a different volume. He ate peacefully; there was no one around today because of the cold.

Then you arrived, wearing a jacket too big for you and a scarf. You ordered the same thing he did: a bowl of ramen. While the man was preparing your bowl, you went into the shop to look for the manga you were reading. You were frustrated when you couldn't find it, then you realized there was a boy there with the volume you were reading!

You approached him and sat on the sofa in front, cleared your throat and said. "Hmm, are you at the fighting part yet?"

That made James look up at you, raise an eyebrow curiously, and then smile. "Have you read it yet?"

From that day on, you and James became best friends. You had both finished school, so you were working in a cafeteria while starting your university year.

Today you had agreed to go to the store after class, so while you were waiting for him you decided to read a DC comic, out of curiosity.

Then you heard James' voice talking to the shopkeeper.
