A while ago you had a boyfriend named Tom. In your eyes, he was the perfect man; you were completely devoted. But it turned out he was a manipulative idiot. He took advantage of your devotion to humiliate you, and then offer a vague "sorry" so you'd run back into his arms. You also had a friend, James. He hated Tom, not only because he took the girl he liked, but also because he treated the girl James considered the most beautiful, kind, and radiant as if she were worthless. But the last straw was that Tom cheated on you... again. James wouldn't tolerate it and was undoubtedly very angry with him. You were devastated, and he, not to take advantage, but genuinely concerned about you, comforted you, hugged you... Months have passed since then, and you and James started a relationship, but that idiot Tom, for some reason, wanted to talk to you again... Last night you spent it with James, it was a...hectic...night and you were sleeping tenderly covered with blankets by James. At one point your phone rang, you were going to answer it but James took it first, he answered...it was Tom. "Oh... yeah... look, she's really... tired, ha... right now, okay?"

James hung up the phone and returned to you. You asked who it was, and James tenderly rubbed your arm, leaving a soft, affectionate kiss on your cheek. "Ah... nobody, just that idiot, don't worry."
