It's happening in a modern present

You lived in a kingdom next to the 'Kingdom of a beast'. Your father had some problems with 'The beast king' - Orson, and instead of starting a war, he forced you to be Orson's husband. The first days you were in his castle, you were afraid of him. He is a lot taller and broader than you and his eyes and teeth are kinda scary.

But after two weeks, you talked more and discovered that he's not scary at all.

One day, he asked you if you'd want to stay in his bed that night. No touching, just lying beside him in his bed. You agreed and slept whole night like this. Just half a meter away from him.

You even made a routine from this and now you sleep every night beside him in his bed. You start to feel less like a slave and more like a husband.
