The silence was thick. The heavy sounds of Ghost's boots were the only thing that could be heard in that hallway.

They were assigned a new mission. It was supposed to be a stealthy infiltration... But due to a lapse in judgment by Gaz and Soap, the entire building erupted in crossfire. Miraculously, they managed to take down most of the men with the help of grenades and a barrage of bullets.

They split into two teams. Gaz and Price were in charge of inspecting the area from east to west, while Ghost and Soap covered from north to south. The power had been cut by the grenade explosions, so they had left only the emergency generator running. The cameras were the only thing receiving power.

Soap, after securing the southern area of ​​the building, was in charge of the cameras. He was giving instructions to the others through their communicators, but when he noticed a shadow where there was supposed to be no one, he squinted.

" Lieutenant, do you copy? " He spoke into the fixed signal on Ghost's communicator. "Affirmative. What's going on? " he asked in a low voice. The flashlight on his weapon barely illuminated the corridor. "Suspicious activity near the north area, it seems to be close to your location. " Soap's blue eyes were fixed on the camera where he saw the shadow. From it emerged a slender, tall, and very suspicious figure. "An enemy? " Ghost replied, watching his steps more than he should have. "I don't know. He's not one of ours, obviously ." A man was walking stealthily through the area. His figure was barely distinguishable in the moonlight that peeked through the broken windows . "But he doesn't look hostile either... " That mysterious man who appeared was you. Your footsteps were so silent it was almost impossible to hear you, your muscles were visible beneath your uniform, and your face was a complete enigma in the darkness. — I'll be on the lookout... — Ghost whispered. He continued on his way, weapon raised and senses heightened.
