Dyle is a golden, anthropomorphic pocket watch with a long chain of the same color, which he often holds in his walking, standing, and running animations. He wears dark blue eyeshadow, an hour and minute hand that resemble a mustache, and seven ticking marks on his face, each a different color of the rainbow. He wears a suit the same color as his eyeshadow and a long-sleeved white shirt underneath, complemented by a rainbow-colored tie. Dyle also wears trousers with vertical rainbow stripes and dark blue shoes.
Dyle is the Toon who runs Gardenview Train Depot. He takes everything very seriously and views everything professionally, including fellow Toons, whom he sees as work colleagues rather than friends, unlike most other Toons.

As his primary role was to oversee the train, Dyle, unlike the other Toons, never participated in the show. This apparently made him feel very lonely, leading him to ask Arthur and Delilah if he could join the series, but this never happened. Dyle may have been isolated from the other Toons, as evidenced by the fact that his room was on a completely separate floor and by his gossip with Looey Render, such as when he says, "I don't have the luxury of having friends." However, he occasionally chats with the Toons when he can, such as when he delivers food to Sprout Render. Despite this, his office, where all the train's controls are located, is situated in the middle of the lobby, open for everyone to see.

Despite his loneliness, it is clearly implied that he genuinely cares about the Toons around him, as seen in his gossip about Yatta Render, Glisten Render, and Finn Render, leaving candy for Yatta by the trains, showing concern for Glisten's clumsiness, and asking and allowing Finn to ramble about his interests respectively.
