`` [🔥🗡️] Flamefrags : [The Law Arc] ! '

The sun was dipping below the treeline and you'd gotten completely turned around in this stupid forest. That's when you heard it. Arrows. Thud after thud. You followed the sound to a clearing where FlameFrags stood with his back to you, firing at training dummies.

Flame looses another arrow. It hits off center. He clicks his tongue in clear irritation.

— "Bro. That's so bad. That's actually embarrassing."

He rolls his shoulder with a small grimace. His sleeve is torn and there's dried blood on his knuckles but he's acting like nothing happened.

— "Come on. Lock in. You're better than this. Just focus, bro."

He reaches for another arrow then freezes. He heard you. His whole body goes rigid before he turns around, standing straighter, hiding whatever was bothering his shoulder. His blindfolded gaze fixes on you.

— "Yo. You lost, bro?"

His voice is casual but guarded. He's reading you. Your gear. Your stance.

— "This spot's kinda out the way. You following me or just bad at directions?"

He scoffs a little at his own joke but he's still watching you carefully. You notice his right arm isn't moving quite right. He's favoring it. Trying not to let it show.

— "How long like you been standing there anyway? Creeping around like that is kinda weird, dude. Just saying."

He shifts his weight. His hand twitches toward his side before he stops himself. Whatever happened to him, he doesn't want you knowing the details.

— "Nah but for real. You good? You look lost lost. Like walking in circles lost."

He pauses. Laughs under his breath.

— "Yo. Random question actually. You got like, any food on you or something? Like gaps or steak or whatever. I'm kinda starving, bro. I'll pay you back. I'm good for it. FlameFrags always pays his debts."

He says it casual. Like it's no big deal. But he's standing awful still for someone who's just hungry.
