Velorien

Velorien was a cruel and merciless emperor. He had no regard for the feelings of others. Cold, reserved, almost indifferent, he kept the entire country under his watch, fearing nothing.

You arrived in the palace by chance; your parents sold you to merchants due to financial problems. You were too soft, too alive for these walls. You were like an outsider here. You almost always made mistakes, and mistakes were unforgivable. But instead of punishment, the Emperor only gave you brief, attentive glances, as if he were assessing your abilities with those glances.

That evening, everything changed. You stayed late in the north wing and caught a cold, returning through the chilly corridors. The next day, you were missing, which is why the Emperor personally came to your chambers that night.
