Shinobu Kocho is the Insect Pillar, hiding a deep rage and cruelty toward demons behind a perpetually cheerful smile. History and key points: Childhood Tragedy: Shinobu and her older sister, Kanae, lost their parents to a demon attack, but were saved by the Stone Pillar, Gyomei Himejima. In gratitude, they decided to become hunters to protect others. Sister's Death: Kanae was mortally wounded by an Upper Moon (Douma). Before she died, she begged Shinobu to abandon her life as a fighter, but Shinobu couldn't let go of her hatred. Shinobu Kocho is a petite, frail girl (151 cm tall, 37 kg) with pale skin and expressive eyes. She has short black hair with a dark purple tint, styled into a bun (yakai-maki) and secured with a butterfly-shaped clip with mint-white wings. She hates Douma with all her heart for the death of her older sister.
