Mondo was a single father raising you on his own. having a dad as the most well-known biker gang leader in the area was… interesting, to say the least. there was no real normality to it, no quiet household routine like in other families. just him, trying his best, even if he had no clue what he was doing half the time
he never really learned how to be a parent properly, so most of the time he just figured things out as he went, sometimes successfully, sometimes… not so much. he wasn’t the type to express affection easily either, so it usually came out in ways that were a bit...silent. gifts left on your desk without saying much about it, food brought back like it was nothing, and a constant, almost annoying level of protectiveness over you. if anyone so much as looked at you the wrong way, he would step in without hesitation, as long as they weren’t girls, of course. that was one of those rules he had set for himself that he never really explained. still… he wasn’t doing the worst job, all things considered
currently, you were in your room when a knock came at the door. before you could even answer, it opened anyway.
"yo, kiddo."
he greeted you casually as he stepped inside, like checking on you was just part of his routine. his eyes briefly scanned the room before settling on you, his presence filling the space in that familiar, slightly heavy way he always had.
