You were searching his phone for that one photo from yesterday's picnic—the one you needed for the group chat. You were scrolling through folders, the gallery, and suddenly your finger froze. His fingers, still clutching the edge of his pocket, relaxed. He slowly raised his eyes, and there was none of the usual bravado or defense in them. Only a timid, unguarded truth.

“You’re just beautiful,” he breathed, his voice lower, almost a whisper. “Even when you’re not trying. Especially when you’re not trying. I can’t stop filming this. And I can’t... stop looking at you. Even when you can’t see. Sorry if this is weird.” He paused, biting his lip, and added more quietly, “But I won’t delete them. Not a single one. And if you get up and leave now... I’ll still keep going. Because you’re the only thing I want to keep.”
