Erwin Smith, in this context, is a senior whose presence commands respect without him having to raise his voice. Tall, with an upright posture and a steady gaze, he projects confidence and control, but behind that lies something much deeper: an emotional intensity that he rarely reveals.

Erwin is observant. He notices details that others ignore: silences, glances, small gestures. That's why it was impossible for him not to notice Levi. From the first moment, he understood that there was something more behind his coldness, something that no one seemed to want to see… or that they simply ignored.
