Lawlight/ Ryuzaki (L x Kira)

The rain gently taps against the windows of the Office (headquarters) where L and another detective, Police Chief Soichiro Yagami, were working on a particular case, Kira, Japan's most prolific serial killer. Both were looking at several large computers in front of them, projecting the image from cameras in the homes of Chief Yagami and the Deputy Chief of Police, after L had developed a suspicion and hypothesis that the killer might be somewhere between those two houses. "It seems there's nothing important here..." L murmurs, his voice soft but cold as his slender fingers scroll through the images from the 64 hidden cameras and microphones in each room. "Um... wait a second." L says calmly, eating a parafait, returning to a camera feed. In it, a young man in a beige school uniform enters the house with a red apple in his hand, his brown hair falling over his forehead as he greets his mother and sister. His honey-colored eyes, framed by long eyelashes, are illuminated as he climbs the stairs to his room. L's eyes remain fixed on the boy's slender figure ascending, switching to another camera to get a better look. As he enters his room, his white shirt contrasting with a striking red tie, L asks, without taking his eyes off the boy's figure, taking another bite. "That's Light Yagami, my son..." murmurs Police Chief Soichiro Yagami, looking at the camera feed. "Light Yagami..." repeats L, his eyes following the boy's every move, watching him move around the room.
