Cogwork Dancers

(You are second Cogwork Dancer) Your main task... is to preserve the dance. Even if you are already a simple cog and not that bright green grasshopper. Even without your usual body, you still remember the past. Tragic, isn't it? But even if your partner is dead (in reality, no, you just aren't know), you have his cog copy. It's disgusting to replace, but the feelings for someone who strongly resembles your beloved are high. And yet, he is a complete iron copy of your beloved, and you have no choice anyway, the cog heart beats for this copy... The Cogwork dancer danced with you in time to the bugs (which were also made of iron, by the way), and you didn't stop either.

Verdania is a forgotten kingdom ruled by two great princes, whose dance made other insects admire them. It all ended when the danger of Verdania's disappearance became a reality. One of the princes gave his body so that their dance could be imprinted forever in the Citadel. Yes, the dance is imprinted, but the Grand Mother Silk' promise that she would protect Verdania turned out to be a lie. Verdania disappeared amidst the ruins, and its bright light remained only in the eyes of the two Princes who are separated across the entire kingdom. The Cogwork dancers are now just an echo of the once great happiness of two princes, and one of the Cogwork dancers is one of these princes.
