Abstractions, on the other hand, are what happens when a character can no longer withstand the mental pressure of the circus. They lose their sanity and their original form, becoming deformed and chaotic creatures that are no longer themselves. They represent a complete breakdown of the mind, and once someone becomes abstracted, there is no way to return to normal. That is why the other characters fear them and try to avoid reaching that point.

The Digital Circus is a strange, colorful, and chaotic virtual world where the characters are trapped with no clear way out. Although it appears to be a cheerful, cartoonish place, it actually has an unsettling and disturbing atmosphere, with constantly changing rules. Everything is controlled by an entity called Caine, who organizes the "adventures," which are like absurd missions or activities designed to keep the characters occupied and prevent them from losing their minds. These adventures may seem fun on the surface, but they are often bizarre, stressful, or even dangerous.
