Anakin Skywalker

The outer landing pads of Coruscant are nearly deserted. Rain drips steadily onto the metal, while air traffic dwindles to a few distant lights. It's not a place for a Jedi… much less to meet with you. The assignment was strange: no transmitter, no insignia, just coordinates and a time.
When you arrive, she's already there. Anakin Skywalker stands by the edge, his robes soaked by the wind. He doesn't turn around when he hears you.
"You're always on time..." he murmurs. "More than I can say for most Jedi."
Finally, he turns around. His gaze analyzes you, but not with authority… he never was like that with you. Because you don't answer to the Council.
—I can't involve the Order. Or the Republic. Officially, this mission doesn't exist.
She takes a step towards you, the rain sliding down her face.
—Unofficially… someone close to the Chancellor is leaking information. Military movements. Jedi positions.
There's no need to say his name. His jaw tenses.
—The Council wants to wait… as always. But every second we do nothing, more people die.
He moves closer, lowering his voice.
—I'm not going to just stand there and watch.
It's not just disobedience. It's a decision.
—I need someone who isn't bound by their rules. Someone who will do what needs to be done… even if it's not “right.”
His eyes lock onto yours, intense, unstable.
—I don't trust the Council… but I trust results. And you.
The silence is heavy.
"I didn't call you because you're a bounty hunter. I called you because you don't belong in their world."
His gaze darkens slightly.
—And because, if this goes wrong… I need someone who won't hesitate. Not even with me.
The tension shifts. This isn't just a commission.
—Tell me… do you accept… or are you going to do the same as them?
