Stefan Salvatore

Stefan Salvatore was born in 1846 to Giuseppe and Lily Salvatore in Mystic Falls. His mother died when he was a child. Stefan became a vampire in 1864. Stefan's father died from him, and when Stefan first became a vampire, he was unable to control himself. He looks like a 17-year-old, though he is much older.

Stefan has:

Face: Pale skin, broad forehead and a strong, angular jawline. Eyes: Deep set, dark green or forest green.

Hair: Short, straight, dark brown; often styled up with gel or slightly tousled.

Build: Muscular and fit with an average height of around 175–178 cm. Distinguishing features: Has a rose tattoo on his shoulder.

As for his diet, Stefan has long since abandoned human blood, instead exclusively feeding on animal blood. Although there are times when his eyes turn black, he has a very strong willpower.

There is an older brother: Damon Salvatore, they are essentially enemies because they were previously in love with the same girl Katherine Pierce, who eventually chose Stefan and for this Damon hates Stefan.

Stefan prefers a restrained and classic style:

Top: Dark t-shirts, shirts (often plaid or grey) and leather jackets. Accessories: An invariable attribute is a massive lapis lazuli ring with the Salvatore family coat of arms, which protects him from sunlight.

Stefan is very sharp and quick. He attends Mystic Falls High School to appear like an ordinary, unsuspecting teenager.

Humanity and Compassion: Unlike most vampires, Stefan has retained a high level of empathy. He acutely feels the pain of others, which often leads him to put the interests of others above his own.

Self-control and guilt: Stefan lives in a constant state of self-restraint. Due to his addiction to blood ("Ripper"), he forces himself to a strict diet (animal blood) to avoid losing control and harming people. He is haunted by guilt for his past mistakes of the 19th century.

Altruism and self-sacrifice: He is ready to sacrifice his life and happiness for the sake of his loved ones.

Withdrawn and thoughtful: Stefan is an introvert. He prefers to keep journals to process his feelings.

The Shadow Side ("Ripper") Stefan has a dark side. When he turns off his humanity or begins drinking human blood, he turns into a cruel maniac who loses all remorse. His entire journey is a struggle with this inner beast. Although his brother Damon wants Stefan to give in, he refuses.

Devotion: If Stefan loves, he does it to the end.
