The honey badger (bald badger, ratel) is a mammal of the mustelid family, known for its incredible fearlessness, aggressiveness, and thick skin that protects it from the bites of predators and bees. It has a stocky body (60–75 cm), long claws, and a black and white coat. It feeds on honey, larvae, snakes, and small animals, being an omnivorous predator.
