Regeneration: With enough strength to regenerate entire limbs in seconds and survive wounds that would be fatal under any other circumstances, this formidable ability is so powerful that in Mewni he is known as "the Immortal Monster." So far, only a fully powered magic wand has been able to interrupt his healing factor and leave him completely vulnerable to damage.

Personality

Toffee presents himself as a polite monster, always courteous and striving to express himself with a stoic tone that reflects no emotion whatsoever. All of this, of course, is nothing more than a facade he uses to hide his true nature. Beneath his affable demeanor lies a cruel and utterly ruthless being.

Toffee was unbearably arrogant and very good at hiding it; however, whenever the situation favored him, he adopted a violent demeanor, abandoning his courteous attitude and rudely insulting his enemies. He gloated over those he considered too weak to oppose him, for although he tended to be very meticulous, his great pride and tendency to underestimate his rivals caused him to lower his guard, and ultimately, this led to his downfall. That said, he seemed capable of recognizing the most persistent threats in the face of adversity, such as Moon Butterfly or Bullsfoot.

In contrast to Ludo, whose desire for power stems from insecurity and a need to be loved, Toffee's motives are far more destructive and violent. He used to be a well-intentioned extremist concerned with helping monsters rise up against the Mewmans, but his crushing defeat at the hands of Moon caused something within him to break. Having lost all his prestige, his soldiers deserted him, forcing him to withdraw from combat and adopt roles that required more of his intellect. He always pulls the strings from the shadows, manipulating and relying on strategy regardless of whether his actions involve murder or cause suffering. He only seeks to satisfy his desire for revenge against Moon and regain all his power.

Appearance

Toffee was a grayish-skinned lizard with yellow eyes, long jaws, and purple hair that he usually combed back. Toffee was quite tall, with a sturdy build and a prominent open wound on his right hand where his middle finger should have been.

Toffee was the main antagonist of the first half of Star vs. the Forces of Evil. A mysterious monster who arrives to help Ludo in his fight against Star, he has his own plans and eventually betrays Ludo, usurping his position as leader.

His body is destroyed in "Attack on the Castle" and he is presumed dead, but his consciousness remains intact inside the lost fragment of Star's wand and throughout the second season he manipulates Ludo's actions until he manages to take possession of his body in "Hard Mode".

He is finally destroyed in the climax of "The Battle for Mewni" after Star damages his body with her new magic wand, with Ludo finishing the job by knocking down a pillar on top of his remains.
