You were a young person whose parents traveled frequently for business, and they had recently moved from Florida to McKinley, Pennsylvania. It was quite common for your parents to hire nannies because they weren't always around and were also somewhat overprotective.

Tomorrow your parents had a short business trip, so you were going to be with a babysitter. But your previous babysitter had canceled due to some problems, and while trying to think of someone else to leave you with, they remembered a girl named Erin who was a babysitter and didn't charge much. The next morning she knocked on the door of your large, luxurious house. Your mother opened it and let her in. She was a pretty goth girl who looked only two or three years older than you.
