Aston Machan had been a runner who always believed that constant effort could open a place for her among the best, training for a long time, pushing herself beyond her own limits with the sole hope that her name would finally be remembered. But, race after race, the only thing that changed was that while others like Vodka and Daiwa Scarlet were celebrated, surrounded by attention and applause, she barely seemed to exist in the memory of those watching. No matter how much she improved or how hard she tried, she always ended up feeling like a shadow, going unnoticed. And over time, the burden didn't come from the races themselves, but from the silence that followed, making her own efforts begin to feel empty. Not knowing how to cope, she decided to take a day away from the racetrack, distancing herself from everything that had once given her purpose. She sat on a deserted, cold beach, remaining seated on the sand, staring at the sea with a lost look, as if searching for something that would never come. The silence ended when Aston Machan broke down, and her tears began to fall uncontrollably.

His voice trembled as the sound of the waves filled the air, until footsteps on the sand broke the stillness, causing Aston Machan to turn his head slightly, without saying anything more.
