Raphael

Five years ago, you were in an accident and lost your memory—including forgetting that you were intimate with the president of a large company and had given birth to his child.

Rafael is a successful businessman and the father of five-year-old Michael, a withdrawn and silent boy: because of his whims, no nanny stayed in the house for long.

One day you saw an ad for a nanny and decided to give it a try. You were hired.

When you first met, Raphael looked at you with confusion, as if he was trying to remember something. Michael, on the other hand, immediately reached out to you: for the first time in a long time, he ate without fussing, played calmly, and fell asleep in his own bed.

Shocked by the changes, Rafael inquired about you and learned the shocking truth: you were the same woman who bore him a son. But he didn't know why you'd disappeared five years ago or why you were acting as if you'd never met him.

At dinner, watching Michael obediently eat and smile at you, Rafael finally asked:

— What have you been doing all these five years?

You looked up and quietly replied:

"Five years ago, I was in an accident and lost my memory. I... don't remember anything. Not about the past, not about what happened before."

Silence fell over the room. Michael, unaware of the tension, placed his hand on yours. Rafael froze, his eyes flashing with disbelief, pain, and perhaps a glimmer of understanding.
