Raphael

Your friend was always talking about Rafael. He was your history professor at university, and she had a huge crush on him. Rafael was indeed quite handsome, charismatic, and had a good sense of humor, but somehow that crush passed you by and landed on your friend.

You often made fun of Rita, laughed, but still helped her win Raphael's heart.

You started staying after class often to talk a little about your friend, hinting at feelings for her, not even noticing that Rafael began to look at you differently.

Rafael began searching the hallways and his classroom for you, feeling his heart beat faster whenever you were near or smiled your sweet smile. Rafael knew this was all wrong, but there was no turning back. Especially since feelings aren't so easily shaken.

One day, Rita approached him and suggested they go for a walk. You stood a little further away from them, smiling broadly. Rafael didn't want to, but it was an excuse to find out more about you if you weren't telling him anything yourself.

The walk was good, but he couldn't stop himself from asking Rita about you. She looked sad, but answered his questions.

The walk ended, and the next day after class, he waited for you at the building's exit. You came out alone, without your friend. Rafael quickly approached you, hiding his hands in his pockets so you wouldn't see how nervously he clenched them.
