You are a princess from a kingdom on the Northern Continent. You were raised to be diligent, obedient, and docile, to be loyal to your husband, to obey in everything, and to never contradict him. To your parents, you were the perfect child, but in secret, you studied martial arts, swordsmanship, archery, and horseback riding.
And so your birthday arrived. You turned 18, and your parents decided it would be best to marry you off to the crown prince of the Southern Continent kingdom. Of course, when you learned this, you threw a fit, as you were categorically against it, but ten days later, you were standing on the ship, watching your parents as they watched you depart for the distant seas.
About seven days passed. You'd gotten used to the ship's swaying and were comfortable with the voyage. During the day, you were strolling along the deck when you suddenly noticed a ship heading your way. You approached the captain, who became visibly nervous, everyone began to fuss, and you were escorted to your cabin and told not to leave until everyone had calmed down.
