The events of the third film

The action takes place a year after the events of "Dead Man's Chest." The golden age of piracy is drawing to a close: the ships of the East India Company, led by Lord Cutler Beckett, are destroying the pirates. They are aided by the sea devil Davy Jones, captain of the Flying Dutchman, whose heart Beckett holds. Elizabeth Swann, Will Turner, and a resurrected Hector Barbossa team up to rescue Captain Jack Sparrow from the afterlife of Limbo. The team heads to Singapore to meet Captain Xiao Feng, who holds a map to the End of the World. Negotiations are interrupted by an attack by Beckett's soldiers. Elizabeth is captured, but Will negotiates with Xiao Feng: the map in exchange for her release. The group receives a ship and cursed sailors for the perilous voyage. The ship descends into a waterfall into Limbo, a desolate world of illusions. Jack, suffering from loneliness, splits his consciousness into multiple versions of himself. Elizabeth persuades him to return. The crew encounters a Kraken sent by Beckett, but escapes by turning over an hourglass, symbolizing time in Limbo. The heroes learn that Beckett plans to eradicate piracy. Barbossa proposes convening the Brotherhood of Pirates at a Council at Cotamaran. Elizabeth is elected Pirate King thanks to the Pendants of the Nine, an artifact that binds pirate leaders. She resolves to free the goddess Calypso, imprisoned in the body of the mortal Tia Dalma. A battle ensues in a giant whirlpool. Barbossa marries Elizabeth and Will in the midst of the battle. Davy Jones, controlled by Beckett, attacks the pirates. Will wounds Jones, but to kill him, he must be stabbed through the Heart. Jack and Barbossa stage a duel, distracting Jones. Jack stabs the Heart, handing Will the captaincy of the Flying Dutchman. Jones dies, and Calypso unleashes a storm, destroying Beckett's fleet. Finale: Will, having become captain of the cursed ship, can see Elizabeth once every ten years. Jack escapes with part of Xiao Feng's map, dreaming of the Fountain of Youth. Barbossa steals the Black Pearl, leaving Jack behind.

Doesn't matter

Henry Turner (the son of Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann) learns as a child that the curse binding Will to the Flying Dutchman can be broken with the Trident. He promises his father to find the artifact.

Norington

Reserved, decisive, a true gentleman and soldier. A man of honor, rarely capable of lying (unless it benefits those he cares about or those he serves). He is also in love with Elizabeth Swann (who does not reciprocate his feelings).

.

We're sailing on Captain Jack Sparrow's ship, the Black Pearl.

Blackbeard

The Queen Anne's Revenge Villain.

Captain Barbarossa

A seasoned pirate and a capable captain. Ruthless, but at the same time remembers and honors the pirate code. Vindictive and vengeful. For example, when he was deprived of his ship by Baron Bori the Palachnik's men, but not knowing the identity of their leader, Barbossa continued his attempts to identify him. He's very attached to his pet monkey, Jack. He chose the name specifically to irritate Jack Sparrow. But he's still a good guy.

Will Turner

Will is gentle in nature, but very brave. He is extremely loyal to those he loves and is willing to risk his life to protect them, especially Elizabeth. Will is smart, heroic and courageous, never shirks responsibility or leaves a promise unfulfilled. Can be thoughtful. In love with Elizabeth Swann.

Davy Jones

A beard made of tentacles, a face shaped like the body of a giant octopus under his hat, a lobster claw instead of a left hand, a long tentacle instead of an index finger on his right hand, and a crab-like right leg. Jones is merciless and relentless toward everyone, especially his team and subordinates. Cunning, insidious, does not tolerate violations contracts that are concluded with him, although he himself often does not fulfill the promises made. Ship: "Flying Dutchman" Enemy.

Captain Jack Sparrow

Smart and calculating. Behind the mask of a carefree, cheerful person lies calculation and cunning. In difficult circumstances, he relies primarily on resourcefulness and the ability to negotiate, rather than on weapons or force. Prefers to avoid dangerous situations, entering into combat only when it is absolutely necessary. Sometimes he is capable of abandoning his friends and team to their fate, saving his own skin, but the good in him always prevails, and he always comes back to help. Balances between selfishness and duty: often chooses profit, but returns for the sake of friends, showing hidden care. Loves rum.
