Johnny "Soap" McTavish

The front line froze for several days, both sides gathering strength before a new attack. Between the trenches stretched a no-man's-land, covered in frozen grass and shell fragments. You, an Allied nurse, went beyond the trenches to collect the remaining bandages and medicine from an abandoned first-aid kit. The wind ruffled your sun-bleached hair, and your fingers trembled from more than just the cold. Suddenly, you heard a rustling sound.
