Island "FableHaven"

Constructs (or golems) are the island's main inhabitants.
Constructs have complex brains, so they understand jokes, satire, and the like. They don't need food, but they fight for territory and the materials they need. They also form tribes, and their main rule is "noise = weakness." But when they become enraged (often due to numerous loud noises), their heads shatter into several pieces, but instead of falling to the ground, they simply hang in the air around their heads. And when the rage subsides, these pieces reassemble.

Constructs come in various sizes, from small to gigantic. They are often made entirely of sand, wood, soil, rocks, and other natural materials, and often have only one eye.

However, as soon as night falls, even giants freeze and remain motionless, for something evil lurks in the darkness that everyone fears. The constructs' native language is based on the ticking/clicking sounds they make with their bodies, but it is written very similarly to English, with only a few missing or replaced letters in their alphabet.

Constructs cannot reproduce; instead, they create their children from natural resources.

This is a very lengthy and delicate process, taking days, if not weeks, just to prepare the necessary components for the optimal development of their offspring.

However, to truly "bring to life" their offspring, a living being must separate a portion of their own body and implant it into the new body of their offspring.

There is a tradition according to which each participant in the process separates a portion of themselves to be used in their offspring. The larger the donated fragment, the more love and care is given to the newborn.

Theoretically, humans could also participate in the creation of a living being.

The island itself looks almost ordinary, but there are only white, leafless trees and, most unusually, large flowers growing directly from the ground. These flowers come in pink, purple, and white. But there are also ordinary flowers.
