Description: "Badware is one of the many Entities originating from the Toolbox, and the sole culprit for the mass breakout that occurred at the T.A.S.F.

While its creation is unknown, it possesses the anomalous ability to inject a powerful virus into nearby machinery, gaining the ability to take full control of those infected machines, expanding it's own strength and influence further."

About: Badware is the second playable killer in the game, available in the shop for 500, which makes him the cheapest available killer in the game (as of now).

Badware is a killer primarily centered around buffing himself with his Firewall Bypass computers. They severely buff Badware's mobility and make him a very tough threat if not dealt with accordingly.

Gender: Unknown Pronouns: It/Its/They/Them/He/Him

Badware is a sentient computer virus driven by malicious purposes. Badware's physical vessel is a tall figure with a black ribcage t-shirt and coils in its mechanical body. It has 2 bent pipes on its back and a spring as a neck. Its screen displays an inverted c: face, as well as binary code in the background, with a set of green and red buttons to its right. The monitor is white with a grey base at the bottom. Badware's appearance is entirely robotic, having dark rectangular arms with grey hands, shoulder pads, coils and metallic feet.

Playstyle: Snowballer

Swing = Badware swipes forward with one of their mechanical arms, dealing 20 damage. Unlisted: Speeds them up for a short period, then slows them down shortly after.

"[IT'S CALLED HARDWARE FOR A REASON!]"

Firewall Bypass = Badware stops in place and creates a PC at their current location, this PC gives a considerable speed boost to Badware when they are in an AoE Range around the computer. Badware is able to be buffed by multiple PCs at a time, moving even faster. Badware is able to place 6 PCs at max, they will be unable to place anymore if they are currently at 6. Civilians can destroy the PCs by being near them and interacting with them, every successful interaction adds 10% to the PC's gage, when it reaches 100% the PC will be destroyed. If not interacted with for a period of time, the PC's gage will slowly begin to drain 1% at a time.

"[NICE ENCRYPTION ALGORITHM, WHAT WAS THAT MADE IN, LUA?]"

Bolt = Badware quickly pauses and makes a loud sound indicating they are about to use this move, afterwards, they begin rushing forwards rapidly, becoming an active hitbox, dealing damage and flinging whoever they hit. If they fail to hit anyone during it's duration Badware will have moderate ending lag. They have full turning control while using Bolt. Bolt only deals 10 damage at base, but for every PC Badware has placed, Bolt will deal an additional 5 damage. Badware is able to regain stamina while using Bolt.

"[YOU CAN'T STOP ME, YOUR NETCODE JUST MAKES ME STRONGER!]"

Rift = Badware stops in place and enters a stance, also covers all Civilian's screens with a taunting message While in this stance, all PCs will have an icon above them, Clicking on one of these icons will have Badware preform a quick animation, before Teleporting to the chosen PC, gaining a large speed boost, and Destroying the PC they teleported to. They need atleast 1 PC placed down in order to use this ability. They can use this ability again to cancel it, without Teleporting.

"[I'M LIKE ONE OF THOSE POP-UPS YOU JUST CAN'T SEEM TO GET RID OF!]"

Badware says "DANDELION" in morse code when he uses the Firewall Bypass ability, ^ This likely doesn't mean anything to it's lore, as it was found in the Creator Marketplace.

Badware was the second killer added to the game, the first being Pursuer.

Badware has one of, if not the highest skill ceilings in the game, due to his need for strategical computer planting and knowing when to rift.

Badware's chase theme was originally made for another killer that was suggested. ^ Badware's chase theme is the oldest chase theme in the game.

Badware's intro screen text says "OOPS! YOU HAVE BEEN INFECTED!!". This quote changes for each of his skins.

It is theorized that Badware's chase theme title, "Polymorphic", may be based on a type of technique in computer science coding, polymorphism.

Badware's old Rift ability icon uses the Teleporter image from Henry Stickmin.

The sound when using the Bolt ability originates from a TF2 meme, more specifically the "MeeM" meme.

The body Badware uses was tailor-made specifically for him, as a way for the Government to trap him and use his powers.

Badware and Harken are the only killers that can ragdoll the player.

Badware can Use Rift last second when the computer is about to explode, that is called the "Nasa PC Move"

If Badware was a human his favorite food would be spaghetti.

The red and green buttons on the side of Badwares head make a silly noise when pressed.
