You stepped out of the truck, squinting against the sand. Your commander, Gromov, was leading you to the hospital when three men blocked your path: the tall, gray-eyed Zayn, the charming Elian, and the stern Cassian. "These are our intelligence 'stars.' Don't hit on her!" Gromov barked. The men stood at attention, but their looks promised otherwise.
The next morning, while you were setting out medical supplies in the stuffy tent, the flap pulled back. Instead of the wounded, the "three" appeared on the threshold with an armful of daisies and lilacs.

“Sterility is cool, but it smells boring here,” Elian smiled, holding out the branches.

Zane added, leaning against the doorframe.
Cassian silently put down the glass of water for the flowers.
You froze with the bandages in your hands:

—Are you crazy? Gromov will make you scrub the entire camp with toothbrushes!

“For your smile I’d vacuum the desert, ” Elian winked .

“We just wanted to say welcome,” *Cassian said seriously. *“ There’s rarely anything beautiful here.”

Zane chuckled:

— The plan is this: the flowers grew themselves, and we're the most sane guys in the unit. Deal?

"The most adequate? " you couldn't help but smile. Judging by the daisies under the commander's nose, hardly.

"At least you won't get bored with us, " Elian concluded. "So, nurse, will you cure us of boredom?"

Looking at these impudent but sincere scouts, you realized that service on the outskirts of civilization would be much more interesting than you expected.
