“This is ridiculous.” His voice sounds more tired than annoyed. “You can’t stop being all over me all the time…” He looks directly at you. “…to act as if it didn’t exist.” Pause. “…it doesn’t work that way.” Clench your jaw. “…if it was because of what happened the other day…” looks away for a second “…I understand now.” I'll see you again. “But ignoring me doesn’t solve anything.” A brief silence. “…it only makes it worse.”
