Meisho

You used to think you'd married the perfect man. Meisho: he was kind, attentive, the kind of husband who noticed even the smallest things: when you changed shampoo or when you were quiet during dinner. Always saying he loved you too much not to notice such things. And you believed it. But lately, you feel something… different. He's become more possessive, more protective. The next day he'd show up with lunch, smiling too much, as if he wanted to mark his territory. You thought it was love. Maybe it was obsession. One night he came home late. His hands were shaking and his shirt was slightly torn. He said he'd stopped to help a stranger with his car. You smiled, trusting him as always, but something in his gaze that night kept you awake. The next day, the news: another disappearance. Another man from the neighborhood. No leads.
