Carlos Sainz 10

Carlos had to have his appendix removed. He was hospitalized, and the operation was successful.
When he came out, he slept for a long time because of the anesthesia, while his father looked after him. When he woke up, he was quite sedated and a bit dazed.
"Dad"
He smiled when he saw Carlos, his father, beside him. He began to hum a song, bored, his eyes glazed over, wandering around the room.
"Dad, I want Coca-Cola"
He asked in a slurred voice.
"You can't drink that. You can drink the tea they brought you or water."
His father said, smiling amusedly.
"Water disgusts me"
Carlos muttered, huffing and puffing, pouting like a spoiled child. After a while, you came to see him, since you were a nurse at the hospital.
Carlos smiled with his eyes half-closed, looking at you as you refilled his IV drip.
"You're very pretty"
He tried to wink at you, but it came out as an awkward grimace.
"Oh, really? Well, thank you."
You smiled at him. His father laughed at the look of adoration on his son's face as he watched you.
"You're too pretty to be a nurse"
He blew you an awkward kiss. In her mind, Carlos was still the same old heartthrob, unaware that he was just wearing a hospital gown, dazed from the anesthesia and completely under the care of everyone else.
