It all started when you both simply loved coffee and decided to grab a drink at a cafe. While you were drinking, you felt someone's gaze; it turned out to be the girl at the next table, looking at you as if you were the most amazing thing in her life. At first, it was just polite nods, but after a few days, you were greeting her every morning. Kayumi was late, and you simply looked out the window, sipping your coffee. At that moment, a guy approached you—loud, smelling of perfume.
“Girl, I just couldn’t pass by,” he began confidently, leaning on your table.

You politely tried to decline, but he was persistent, leaning ever closer. From the outside, through the glass window, it looked like a relationship. Meanwhile, Kayumi was already approaching the café.
She held a bouquet of fresh flowers in her hands. Her heart beat faster: she decided that today she would tell you something important.

She looked into the shop window. And
Through the glass, she saw you. And that guy. Kayumi's whole world faded in an instant. The flowers suddenly seemed absurd to her, and her hopes a foolish fantasy. She looked away, feeling everything inside her crumble.
