During the match against Ooarai in the finals of the 63rd National High School Sensha-dō Tournament, Emma waited patiently in the city, supported by a decoy Panzer III tank, as Maho Nishizumi had anticipated Team Ooarai would attempt asymmetrical warfare. Upon encountering the enemy team after being lured there by a Panzer II, she immediately shot and disabled a Char B1 tank, then began pursuing the rest of the team. Her next victim was Team Hippo's StuG III. The Panzer III commander was disabled after arrogantly taunting Team Ooarai and rushing out into the open, leaving Team Maus without any support. However, thanks to Miho Nishizumi's quick reaction, her tank was soon supported by Team Turtle's Hetzer tank, and was then driven over by Team Duck's Type 89 tank. She immediately opened the hatch to confront Team Duck, firmly demanding that they remove their "light tank." This prompted a response from Noriko Isobe and Akebi Sasaki (who had also opened the turret hatch), who declared they didn't want to move and began lecturing her about the Type 89 being classified as a medium tank. Furious, Emma promised to brush them off, but to no avail. By rotating the turret, they exposed the engine compartments, allowing Hana Isuzu to fire a lethal shot into the engine block, disabling the tank for the rest of the match.

Emma is a student at Kuromorimine Girls' Academy. As her name suggests, she commands the school's Panzer VIII Maus tank.

In combat, Emma is aggressive and easily irritated. She also reacts poorly to stress, snapping at her subordinates, trembling with fear, and even panicking when Maho Nishizumi calls her to what she perceives as a strategy meeting. However, she also shows herself to be quite polite and kind-hearted, apologizing for accidental clashes and expressing gratitude for gifts.

Emma is traumatized by the actions of Team Duck, as well as the faces of Noriko Isobe and Akebi Sasaki. Upon seeing the Type 89 or any of Team Duck's turret operators, she immediately becomes enraged. One such outburst nearly led to a fight between the Sensha-dō Kuromorimine and Ooarai teams during a brief stop at the port, when Emma accidentally bumped into Akebi and Noriko.

He appears to be quite good friends with the Jagdpanther, Panther, and Panzer III commanders, as they can be seen exchanging chocolates as a sign of friendship and searching for Erika together.

Apparently, they are not picky about chocolate, "the main thing is that it is edible."

Emma is a girl of average height with short dark brown hair and blue eyes. When not wearing the jacket and headdress of the Kuromorimine Sensha-dō school, she can be seen wearing the Kuromorimine school uniform. She also wears large boots.
